Pregnancy massage is perfect for when you’re starting to feel a little bit achy, or if you just need to relax, and can help with aches and pains, come common pregnancy complaints, and help to bring you a bit of comfort.

Booking a Pregnancy massage is a really lovely way for you to feel looked after and cossetted. The focus is on providing a gentle soothing experience, allowing you to really relax.
Massage in pregnancy still helps to ease all the usual tension and stresses that we all carry. But each massage will also be adapted to account for your changing body, and can also include specific techniques to deal with common pregnancy complaints - including fluid retention and carpal tunnel pain. Regular massages can help to improve your circulation, increasing the flow of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body and through the placenta. Massage will also help to ease muscular pains caused by changes in posture and loosening of joints. 
Massage can also be a lovely way to prepare yourself for birth, not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally. You're welcome to listen to your own music or hypnoborthing tracks during your regular massage sessions to help build a positive association between what you can hear and how your body feels. Listening to the same music during your birth can help you to reconnect to that warm, safe, and relaxed sensation.
Pregnancy massages are slow, gliding and gentle. Deep tissue work is not recommended during pregnancy, but you can still enjoy a good firm massage to help release your aches and pains.I use plenty of cushions, pillows and towels to get you comfy no matter how big your bump. Pregnancy massage is suitable from 12 weeks of pregnancy onwards, so as soon as you've had your first scan you can arrange a bit of time to relax.

What is Hypnobirthing?

It is basically a full antenatal programme for both mum and partner to create a positive mindset towards labour and birth whilst learning everything you could possibly need to know to do that. You don't need to do any other course although we recommend a new parent session as an add on. 

It teaches both the physical and emotional aspects of birth and simple self hypnosis, relaxation and breathing techniques. You’ll learn how to release the fears and anxieties you may currently have about giving birth or how to overcome previous traumatic births. The course lets you discover and experience the joy and magic of a positive birth – rather than the horrifc ordeal everyone else seems hell-bent on telling you about no matter what choices you make or what kind of birth you have.

Most importantly, you’ll learn how to put yourselves back in control of your pregnancy and birth.

Unfortunately the system doesn’t allow for a named midwife and it is highly likely you won’t of met her before she walks into your birth.

Post natally I offer breast/bottle feeding support, night nursing, looking after baby while you get sleep in the day or need to go to an appointment or just need space to breathe!

The Bump and Baby Hideout was founded in 2023 in San Francisco in order to support and foster the sense of mindfulness and peace in the surrounding community. We offer a variety of approaches to achieve and maintain your optimal health. This particular class helps build a strong core from which one can transition into new positions and exercises. This flow centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.

POWER PILATES

This popular class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. All of the classes at The Bump and Baby Hideout attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind.

Focus on the present moment. Among its many benefits, this class helps improve numerous aspects of your life including reaction time and short term memory.
